Number 6029 Full time The Baden-Württemberg Institute for Sustainable Mobility (BWIM) at the Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences is the independent think tank and do tank for the active design of the mobility transition in Baden-Württemberg. In dialogue with politics, administration, business and civil society, the Transformation Institute develops new strategies and solutions for the realization of sustainable mobility in the city and country. For this purpose, the BWIM bundles the mobility competencies of Baden-Württemberg universities and designs practical solutions in interdisciplinary teams and in cooperation with actors on site. At present, the BWIM mobility competencies of six Baden-Württemberg universities have eight professorships and an interdisciplinary and intercultural team.

The project Country-to-City Bridge is a research project carried out in cooperation with the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), the Forschungszentrum Informatik (FZI) and several Fraunhofer institutes from Karlsruhe. This is funded by the German Center for Mobility of the Future. C2CB wants to explore attractive alternatives to its own car for commuting between land and city with a user-centred ÖPNV offer. In this context, services with autonomous, platooning-enabled call taxis in passenger car size and intelligent transfer strokes are to be examined holistically. Through visualizations, citizens and other stakeholders are involved. The project is divided into five different work packages. The job is located in the ''Work Package 4 - Visualization''. The aim of this work package is to develop a mobile experience room. Through this space of experience, decision-makers from politics and people should be given a vision in such a way that it is not only cognitively understood, but can be experienced with all senses. This will give the decision-makers a means to assess the emotional aspects and effects of an idea, as well as to get into the vision. The tasks of this work package include the development of methods for virtual representation of the C2CB service, the definition of visualization technology and interfaces, and the development of concepts for a mobile form of implementation. The main focus of the position is: Analysis and continuous evaluation of the target groups of the mobile experiential space in the C2C-Bridge project for the well-founded, user-centric development of the overall concept and the content development Planning, implementation and evaluation of user studies for the analysis of technical, conceptual and design elements as well as acceptance and effect of the experience area Conception, implementation and ongoing development of a comprehensive evaluation strategy for quality-secured evaluation of the C2C bridge concept based on the use of the experience space derivation, analysis and systematic concretisation of target-group-specific requirements for mobile space based on empirical research results for user-centric and evidence-based further development of concept, content and design Conception, organisation and implementation of workshops, participation formats as well as participative user studies on structured, methodically based and active involvement of relevant target groups in the development and evaluation process
