As a leader:r Security Engineer:in (w/m/d) of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen, you are responsible for all the safety issues of the country and the city community, in particular the advice of the Central Works Protection Committee of the City of Bremen, as well as the advice and support of services and facilities of the Bremen public service. At the same time, the Head of Unit F2 – Safety at Work – is responsible for the Human Resources Union. The unit, with a total of 28 employees, includes a team of professionals for occupational safety, one for “testing local electrical work equipment” as well as a team for “digitalization work protection”. Your tasks include ensuring a uniform and coordinated approach to the application of the current specialist, the development of existing and new service segments with industrial protection including the acquisition of regional and supra-regional clients. You agree with the competent accident insurance company and the trade supervisor in general or overarching questions with occupational safety. As Head of Unit F2, you are also in the alternating coordinating direction of the Centre for Healthy Work, which, in addition to safety at work, also bundles occupational medicine and social consultation. In this role, it is your task to strategically align the Centre for Healthy Work with the other Units and to develop attractive services in Health Management.
