Solution Architect – near Münster (m/f/d)

In this role, you actively shape the IT architecture of substations and ensure that systems run reliably and forward-looking. You accompany projects from the first idea to stable operation and support customers in implementing digital solutions. Customer advice: You help customers understand requirements and develop suitable solutions, and supports them through training, presentations or workshops.

Testing and prototypes: You set up test environments, evaluate new approaches and ensure that concepts can be implemented in practice.

Software and system checks: You'll check hardware-related software, virtualized environments and container solutions and make sure everything runs stable on the platforms used.

Further development: You are testing new technologies, introducing trends such as automation, security or edge computing and developing practical recommendations together with product and development teams.

Documentation & Know-how: You first understandable instructions, provide documentation and share knowledge internally and externally so that all participants are up-to-date.

Complete studies in the technical field (e.g. electrical engineering, energy technology, computer science) or a comparable qualification

Knowledge in C and C++ as well as experience with hardware-related software development

Experience with virtualization solutions and container technologies

Basic understanding of IT and OT security as well as network technology

Analytical way of thinking, independent and structured way of working and team skills

German and English skills

Ideally practical experience in energy infrastructure or industrial automation

Working in a global team with international impact
