Health and Nursing Officers (m/w/d)

Your tasks:

• Care of the blood donors throughout the donation process (advice, information, contact care, ordering, data collection/care, prevention/treatment in case of donation complications)
• Preparation, implementation and reprocessing of both conventional whole blood donations and machine plasma and thrombocyte donors
• Blood removal
• Further processing of blood donations, for example to patient-related preparations
• Preparation and storage of blood preparations
• Handling of medical devices and laboratory-EDV
• Implementation of mobile donation appointments
• Coordination of donor appointments
• Preparation of secondary preparations
• Working in quarantine storage and finishing of plasms for further use
• Implementation of production-accompanying quality controls
• creation of blood images as well as maintenance and quality control
• Ensure and monitor the functioning of the equipment necessary for production and storage
• Primary preparation of whole blood – separation of whole blood into individual blood components

Your profile: (m/w/d)

• Completed training for medical professionals (m/w/d)
• Alternatively, a medical, biological-chemical or technical training (e.g. a laboratory technician (m/w/d))
• Team skills, social and communicative competence
• Embossed service readiness
