Development and implementation of global purchasing and supplier strategies for logistics services and freight in cooperation with internal departments and international locations Consolidation, analysis and forecasting of global transport and freight needs as well as deriving appropriate procurement and procurement strategies Responsible control of the strategic sourcing process from the need analysis, tendering and negotiations to the conclusion of the contract with national and international logistics service providers Building and developing strategic supplier relationships and supporting global locations in escalations and challenges in the supply chain Development and implementation of cost optimisation measures in interdisciplinary teams

Successfully completed commercial training, preferably as a freight forwarder (m/w/d), or an economic study with a focus on logistics or supply chain management Multiannual professional experience in purchasing, ideal for purchasing logistics services and transport Safe and routined handling of suppliers as well as strong negotiation skills Negotiating knowledge of German and English in word and writing is absolutely necessary readiness for international missions of about 20% p.a.
