Senior Civil Engineer - Transport Stations / Railway Engineering (m/f/d)

Own-responsible construction of transport station projects You control demanding construction measures in the field of engineering and transport stations – from work preparation to construction to acceptance. Quality, dates and costs are fully responsible for this and work closely with work preparation and specialist departments. Coordination and leadership of the construction site team You guide all project participants professionally and organizationally, coordinate contractors and trades and ensure a smooth construction process under the special conditions of running railway operations – even during night and weekend operations. Subcontracting and purchasing management You are responsible for the selection, commissioning and control of after-contractors and work closely with the central purchase to achieve economic and quality-oriented solutions. Client and follow-up management As a central contact person for the client – in particular DB AG – you keep performance directories, supplements and construction meetings in mind, represent the interests of the project sovereignly to the outside and secure the economic success of the project.

You have a completed degree in civil engineering, road construction or a comparable technical qualification (e.g. construction engineer:with relevant experience) You have at least five years of experience in engineering construction or project management, ideally focusing on transport stations or comparable railway infrastructure projects (DB AG) You possess safe knowledge of the relevant railway regulations and the VOB/B and have ideally experience with DB-specific processes and prequalification requirements You have proven experience in managing construction site teams – you motivate, delegate and make decisions reliable, even under time pressure and in complex construction situations You work structured and solution-oriented with safe handling of common building software (e.g. RIB iTWO, MS Project) and MS Office applications You have strong communicative strength in handling clients, authorities and subcontractors In addition, You bring very good German knowledge (C1 level), readiness to travel within the field of use (NRW, Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate) for daily use, as well as a licence class B with
