You develop marketable product and action concepts for the discount channel, pick up trends early and translate them into economically successful assortments Existing articles and collections are constantly analysing and opting for market performance, costs, quality and customer requirements You conduct price, cost and contract negotiations with international suppliers, collect samples, certificates and releases and ensure delivery, quality and margins You control the entire product development process end-to-end: from the first idea to pattern development, calculation and packaging to the POS layout In close cooperation with the sales you ensure that assortment, packaging, price and timing are optimally matched to the requirements of discount customers You are responsible for product calculations, product data, reports and documentation, and provide transparency and decision-making Through store checks, trade fair visits and market observations, you identify relevant trends and systematically translate them into specific product and assortment measures If necessary, you will travel to international suppliers – in particular to Asia, to advance developments, to secure quality and to further expand partnerships

Multiannual experience in product management, purchasing or category management, ideally in the FMCG, beauty, jewellery or lifestyle environment – with discount experience A completed degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Product Management, Design or a comparable qualification A strong passion for beauty accessories, jewellery or lifestyle products as well as a very good feeling for trends, target groups and marketable implementation Sovereign negotiation skills, a safe handling of costs, quality and delivery times as well as detectable experience in project and product management Entrepreneurial thinking and hand-on mentality: You understand what end-consumer moves in discount, and implements creative ideas pragmatically and result-oriented A structured, analytical method that convinces from costing to presentation to the customer Very good knowledge of English and willingness to travel to advance projects and supplier relations internationally
