The SOS Children's Village Sauerland in Lüdenscheid supports children, young people and their families in difficult locations as youth supporters. Our children's and youth group on the grounds of the SOS Children's Village Sauerland in Lüdenscheid (City of Dickenberg) offers up to eight children from the primary school age a loving, socially educational home. The offer is aimed at boys and girls who are looking for a longer-term perspective and benefiting from stable relationships and targeted promotion. An experienced team of five pedagogical professionals accompanies children in everyday life, supports them individually in their development and creates a secure framework for their growing up. Your tasks include: as a pedagogical specialist, you take care of up to 8 children and adolescents in a stationary children's and youth group together with your team colleagues with your expertise and empathy, you promote the individual development of children and adolescents and work with the education and assistance planning You organize a structured daily routine and get involved in the design of an active group life They maintain constructive cooperation with schools, doctors, therapists, other externally accompanying helpers and support systems, as well as the respective parents They carry out the necessary documentation and reporting, support the management in the further development of pedagogical work and participate in professional, internal bodies of the institution. They consistently and responsibly implement child and care protection

They have completed training as a state-recognized educatorin or curative caregiverin or a study in social education or educational sciences or a comparable educational field You have the competence to integrate targeted promotion into everyday life Your commitment to the further development of our pedagogical work with the representatives is one of your strengths They are team-ready and have an independent working method at the same time You are flexible and the necessary activities in a residential group are mandatory for you They bring the willingness to night and weekend services You bring a professional attitude in dealing with proximity and distance and reflect your educational work regularly
