Specialist in Exchange Trading & Order Management (m/f/d)

Our 30-member team in Düsseldorf is responsible for the reliable settlement of market and out-of-market securities transactions and ensures that purchases and sales of shares, funds, ETPs and bonds are processed in a precise, timely and regular manner.

In the field of stock exchange trading, 13 colleagues work together in the team and are jointly responsible for the stock exchanges as well as the off-market direct trading. The close coordination and versatile distribution of tasks ensure technical expertise, a varied working day and high process reliability. In your position, you actively contribute your expertise to trading activities and perform the following tasks: Orderrouting & market surveillance: You monitor the order-routing on national and international stock exchanges as well as on out-of-the-counter direct trading partners and intervene in a targeted manner in the event of deviations or disturbances. In the Exception Handling you analyze and process selected or incorrect orders, identify causes and ensure a sustainable clarification. Communication & Customer Service: You are in close contact with stock exchanges, trading partners and in particular our customers. In doing so, you will answer all questions by phone and in writing, support complaints and provide transparency and confidence through clear information sharing. Documentation & work templates: The structuring and creation of understandable work templates, manuals and information materials is your responsibility. You can prepare content to address, both for internal stakeholders and customers. Process optimization: You contribute to the optimization of existing processes, for example in the context of digitalization initiatives or in the introduction of new system components, thus contributing to the efficiency and sustainability of the area. Project & Special Tasks: After a comprehensive introduction, you will also be increasingly involved in strategic and operational project and special tasks in addition to the day-to-day business and will thus actively develop beyond your own tasks. Agile Transformation: Together with the team, you will shape the change towards more modern, agile working methods. You will have the opportunity to try new methods, question existing processes and actively help to shape how cooperation and organization will look in the future. Curiosity, openness and desire for change are more important than agile preliminary knowledge.

A completed bank training or an economic studies course forms the basis of your expertise. Ideally, you are already bringing professional experience in securities processing. Alternatively, you have a solid understanding of securities and capital markets and the motivation to develop professionally. An existing stock exchange trading license is advantageous. If you have not yet acquired this, we offer you the opportunity to purchase the license with us as part of your activity – including technical support and cost acceptance. First experience in (agile) projects is advantageous, but no compelling prerequisite. Whether oral or written – you speak fluently German (C1) and also bring good English skills (B2) to professionally communicate with our international partners. You are open to the closely coordinated shift service with fair rotation along the stock exchange times. In a dynamic stock exchange environment you work independently, react quickly to new situations and focus priorities with an eye dimension. You can use the freedom of working to approach topics proactively. You work extremely carefully and responsibly, are aware of the risks in the order and trade environment and ensure quality and accuracy at any time. You enjoy communication and exchange and move safely between different contact persons. Information clearly points to the point and adjust your address to your counterpart.
