Media Relations Manager (m/f/d)

Strategy & implementation: You develop and implement PR strategies for our sovereign cloud and cyber security solutions. Media relations: You build sustainable relationships with the trade, economic and daily press and actively care for them. Your existing network is a decisive advantage here. Content Creation: You'll start high-quality press releases, specialist articles, O-Töne and other communication materials. You translate complex technology topics into understandable and media-relevant content. Your distinctive writing skills are essential. Interview management: You prepare management as well as technology experts for media talks, coordinate interviews and accompany press talks. Inquiry Management: You process media requests sovereignly, coordinate internal coordination and ensure professional communication with internal and external stakeholders. Crisis Communication: You play an active role in crisis communication. Storytelling: You identify relevant debates about cyber security, cloud, AI and digital sovereignty and develop media-effective narratives that position Black Digits as opinion leaders. Media analysis: You continuously explore the media landscape as well as political and social developments. You analyze the effect of our communication measures using relevant KPIs and derive recommendations for action.

Studies: You have completed studies in the field of communication, journalism, law with communication or a comparable qualification. Professional experience: You have at least 8 years of relevant professional experience in PR or corporate communication, ideally with expertise in cyber security, IT security or data protection. Network: You have proven contacts and a resilient network of professional journalists. Communication strength: You are characterized by excellent written and oral communication skills, coupled with a pronounced writing skills in German and fluent English. Subject competence: You are passionate about technology, digitalization, cyber security, AI and digital sovereignty. You can quickly capture and communicate complex technical relationships. Resilience: You also keep a clear head under high time pressure and meet sound decisions in challenging communication situations. Legal understanding: You have a good understanding of data protection and regulatory frameworks (e.g. GDPR) and their communication. .
