Establishment and management of the occupational medical ambulance as a staff office in direct connection with the senior medical director Conception and implementation of modern occupational medical structures and processes Medical care for all employees of the University Hospital Ulm according to the Labour Safety Act and ArbMedVVV Execution of occupational health care, suitability studies and occupational medical examinations Advising the employer and employees on matters of occupational health and safety and accident prevention Participation in risk assessment and design of ergonomic jobs Contact person for infectiological questions and occupational medically indicated vaccinations Implementation of the requirements under the Industrial Protection Act and Maternity Protection Act Interdisciplinary cooperation with professionals for occupational safety, hospital hygiene and occupational health management Establishment and management of a qualified team in the medical service With the design of occupational health management and preventive medical programs Continuing training of assistant physicians within the framework of the full competence of continuing training

Formal required: Approbation as a doctor (w⁠/⁠m⁠/⁠d) Medical certificate for occupational medicine or additional name Existence of a multiannual activity after completion of the training to the specialist in occupational medicine, so that the full competence for continuing training for occupational medicine (36 months) can be applied.
