You implement research policy programs and develop them strategically You accompany funded research projects and enrich them with research policy impulses You create concepts and strategic documents You observe international research in the context of ErUM – the BMFTR Framework Programme for the Research of Universe and Matter You communicate ErUM-Data success stories to science as well as to our clients, the ministries
You have a completed academic degree in physics or chemistry, or have equivalent expertise, skills and experience; a promotion is desirable You have good knowledge of the national science system and the funding landscape as well as ideally an ErUM theme area or the digitalization of research You have an understanding of research policy strategies and trends in research policy You bring experience with basic natural science research into large-scale devices, such as CERN, ESRF, FAIR, IceCube, ILL or VLT; this is desirable You will enjoy science management at the interface between politics, science and innovation You work independently, solution-oriented and timely You have knowledge of German and very good English in word and writing
