Activity As a future-oriented agency, a powerful, scalable, sustainable and secure IT landscape is essential for ensuring the satisfaction of our customers and employees. The IT services are currently provided by four IT departments in the DRV Bund and are in continuous technological progress through modernization projects, legislative changes and progressive digitization. The IT office is part of the Executive Board's office and serves as a cross-border strategic parenthese over the four IT departments of the DRV Bund and is responsible for a holistic overview of the IT landscape and IT projects. Close cooperation with the areas of corporate security and the digitalization strategy takes place. It also acts as a central contact point for the Chief Information Officer (CIO) or the Executive Board and Adviser for the associated topics.

By coordinating cooperation with the IT departments of the DRV Bund and the direct proximity to the CIO or Executive Board, the tasks in the IT office are subject to a high external impact and special trust. Your tasks as a decern for the coordination of IT's BWL services include, in particular, coordination of contract, license and provider management as well as issues related to IT procurement, IT budget and IT controlling. They are the central contact person for advice on strategic issues in contract, license and provider management as well as IT procurement, IT budget and IT controlling. They coordinate the business processes of the four IT departments, combine them to form an overall picture and harmonize the processes including independent development of ideas into optimization potentials. They take responsibility and conduct regular professional and moderate working groups and conferences. They are responsible for the alignment of the business operations of the IT departments with the principles of economy and security and the strategic objectives of the DRV Bund. They consolidate the data from the IT departments of the DRV Bund to create a comprehensive IT total controlling report. They independently identify potential savings in IT contracts and IT procurement processes.

You have successfully completed scientific higher education (Master or equivalent degree) in the field of Computer Science, Law, Economics, Mathematics or a comparable subject. They can provide comprehensive knowledge in the relevant legal areas such as, in particular, budgetary law, licensing and contract law, as well as procurement and procurement procedures and the rules to be complied with – ideally with regard to information technology. You have several years of professional experience in controlling. Ideally, you have experience in working with bodies or comparable control institutions. A high degree of self-responsibility, structure and communication strength complete their profile.
