Network Engineer Access (m/f/d)

Found experience in the planning, development and scaling of access and local network infrastructures (including MPLS), including capacity planning, network expansion, and the design and optimization of network and device configurations in close coordination with adjacent areas of expertise Proven competence in Research & Development in the network environment, including implementation of Proof of Concepts, evaluation of customer hardware (e.g. CPE) and planning and implementation of software and hardware lifecycle tests in cooperation with product management and development Experience in building, further development and integration of access infrastructures incl. Hardware tests in laboratory and production environments Strong coordination and communication skills in cooperation with suppliers and as technical contact for passive network planning Experience in administration, operation and development of OLT infrastructures as well as in the handling of Auto Configuration Servers (e.g. Axiros) Competence in Troubleshooting, Debugging and Disturbation Analysis in Access Networks as well as technical interface to network operation and NOC

Complete training in the IT field (e.g. specialist informatics, IT system electronics) or studies in the field of computer science / communication technology – ideally with relevant professional experience Knowledge of access and provider technologies such as AE, PON, VoIP, DHCP, PPPoE and MPLS Experience with network and access hardware, ideally from Nokia, Genexis, AVM or Juniper Experience in testing, debugging and troubleshooting complex network infrastructures Structured, independent and solution-oriented operation Embossed Analytical Thinking and Pleasure of Technical Error Search High quality and sense of responsibility Teamability, collegiality and communication at eye level Very good knowledge of German in word and writing on C2 level
