The Datacenter West department is assigned to the CDO SSO CO ITOM 2 division and is responsible for the operation of the infrastructure at the data center locations in Bonn, Cologne and Munich. As part of IT management, the technical operation in the computer rooms is ensured, the IT-technical construction of the computer rooms together with another department is designed and the subsequent implementation (rack construction and installation of all hardware components) is carried out. In the DC infrastructure, the industrial plants (climates and electricity) are planned and operated in cooperation with the corresponding specialist areas of the Bundeswehr.
