Senior Consultant (m/w/d)

Their area of responsibility is primarily characterized by the monitoring and securing of the Group-wide IT production plant. You take responsibility for the central event/incident management and maintain the single-point-of-Contact/Control at IT@LVM. In addition, the administration and control of various platforms and services, such as Windows, Red Hat Linux, z/OS, System Automation, DB2 and IMS, belongs to your area of responsibility. In case of an error, run the root cause and impact analysis. In addition, you will perform measures to maintain and optimize the operation and in case of an emergency, initiate actions to restore the system. The shift operation as well as call/professional services in a team of currently nine employees are also a feature of your task.

They have completed training as a specialist in system integration or a degree in computer science. In addition, you have already been able to gain practical experience in the productive processes of an IT management and ideally bring knowledge in the field of Windows, Red Hat and z/OS as well as their subsystems. Experiences with current monitoring tools such as Grafana and Graylog are beneficial. High readiness for learning and change is one of your strengths as well as your ability to work analytically. You also have a very high self-initiative, communication and team skills. A pronounced service and customer orientation completes your profile.
