The Asklepios Klinik Hamburg Altona is a house of maximum care. In 20 specialist departments, 36,000 patients are treated inpatient care each year. The surgical (18 beds) and the internalistic (12 beds) intensive care unit are located in the new and state-of-the-art intensive medical centre with direct connection to the heart catheter laboratory, the central surgery and the wake-up room.

In the interprofessional treatment team, you can supply patients with intensive medical surveillance and treatment with and without ventilation You decide for the surgical or internal intensive care unit. Despite the separation of the subject areas, we have a need-oriented interdisciplinary occupation You take control of the invasive and non-invasive therapies of the intensive patients entrusted to you: You apply up-to-date expertise and implemented care and care concepts and evaluate the measures taken to their effectiveness You actively participate in the development and optimization of structures, concepts and processes that enable patient-oriented, professionally adequate care and patient satisfaction You integrate state-of-the-art intensive medical device technology as well as computer-assisted patient and care management including care documentation system in your care trades
