You take responsibility for the strategic and operational optimization of the supplier development of two technical areas and ensure compliance with dates, quality standards and costs as well as long-term competitiveness. By developing and standardizing processes, methods and tools, including appropriate key figures, you create transparency, taxability and sustainable performance improvement along the supply chain across all our locations. Control in critical situations You carry out cross-departmental task forces for quality deviations, supply bottlenecks or risks within the supply chain and initiate effective countermeasures. As a manager, you develop your team professionally and personally, together with the department management and other team leaders define a clear target image as well as a roadmap for supplier development.

Complete degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable discipline Multiannual professional experience in a comparable position in the shipbuilding industry or in the maritime industry High self-motivation, enforcement strength and decision-making pleasure as well as a structured, solution-oriented operation Ability to channel and focus despite a variety of requirements as well as a high ambiguity tolerance Embossed communication and team skills in German and English as well as safe handling of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) readiness to travel national and international (about 20%)
