We are constantly working to keep the quality of the Daimler-Use Vehicle Engines at the highest level so that our customers are more than satisfied, because they trust us and our trucks! Quality management accompanies the engines over the entire value flow in the engine plant Mannheim from the foundry to the machining, the assembly to the vehicle factory and beyond.

Our quality management team is responsible for the main tasks of the series support of the middle and heavy engine series as well as customer support including the handling of complaints for engine customers (OEM) worldwide.

During your internship, you work together with the series supervisors and key account managers on the interdisciplinary execution of customer complaints including the execution of fault analyses and action generation. They are directly involved in the day-to-day activities and learn to perform the qualified processing of numerous tasks in the team. Interdisciplinary cooperation with other colleagues in your environment is decisive. They are also involved in the process of digitalization in the area of quality management and have the opportunity to actively participate in the design. These challenges come to you, among other things:
