The Department of Forensic Psychiatry is responsible for the Mass Control in the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. For this purpose, it provides criminal therapeutically effective treatment and rehabilitation services for psychiatric patients:inside (§ 63 StGB and addiction patient:inside (§ 64 StGB). In addition to a treatment chain with psychotherapy and addiction stations, treatment sites in the acute and post-acute psychiatric area and an openly guided rehabilitation station (with associated housing groups), there is a forensic aftercare ambulance.

Patient's independent, professionally qualified consulting activities:inside and single-therapeutic assistance as well as the offer of socio-therapeutic group therapies An active networking work with outpatient, semi-stationary and stationary social and professional rehabilitation institutions as part of the preparation of dismissals A close cooperation with the multi-professional organized treatment team and active participation in the therapeutic meetings and commissions

A completed university study of social education / social welfare / social work A professional pre-experience in the field of mass control or psychiatry / addiction therapy and criminals:internal treatment Funded, application-proof knowledge in social legislation and in adjacent legal areas, knowledge of the extraclinical supply landscape and interest in social therapeutic group work Designed expertise and social competence, team capacity, resilience and organisational and coordination capability, commitment and targeted action
