You develop and optimize converter-controlled drive systems for fin stabilizers and contribute to increasing operational reliability by means of targeted troubleshooting. As part of development projects, you support prototype phases and actively support test bench runs for the technical validation of new solutions. Through your participation in port and sea trials, you ensure the practical use of the systems under real conditions. You adapt electrotechnical hardware and software components precisely to customer-specific requirements and adopt technical adjustments in system integration and commissioning. Their activities include a moderate (10-20 %) readiness to travel to national and international locations – especially for testing, technical acceptances and customer deployments.

You have a successfully completed further education on the technician of electrical engineering or a completed study in electrical engineering, automation technology or control and control technology. Multiannual professional experience – ideally in the maritime or industrial environment – allows you to safely implement complex electrotechnical requirements. You have extensive knowledge of electrical switching systems as well as experience with converter-controlled drives – ideally with components from Danfoss, VACON or ABB. Secure application in PLC control and programming with WAGO and Siemens S7 (TIA Portal) is just as easy as creating and reading schematics in EPLAN P8.
