Own-sponsored creation of basic legal opinions in the context of the MPG mission, in particular with regard to financing from public funds and other legal areas relevant to the MPG Continuous observation, analysis and evaluation of national and international (research) legal developments and derivation of their impact on the MPG Constitution of sound reports and recommendations on new legal regulations and their consequences for the MPG Continuous monitoring of relevant framework conditions in public law Establishment and maintenance of a network in the administrative context of non-university research institutions in Germany and in the European Research Area and with funding providers Cooperation with internal and external partners to identify and manage legal requirements and risks Participation in the reduction and optimization of the legal framework applicable to the MPG from the allocation ratio

Successful, at least ‘satisfactory’, 2nd legal state exam or equivalent degree Ideally relevant professional experience in public law or in the context of public administration Wide interdisciplinary knowledge Ability to clearly and understand complex legal issues Experience in science and/or public administration is desirable Ideally experience in managing and optimizing administrative processes Experience in handling AI applications or the willingness to work into appropriate systems Excellent analytical and communicative skills High level of flexibility, self-employment and team skills Very good communicative, mediating and didactic skills Language knowledge in German and English

As part of a fixed-term employment relationship for two years, depending on the qualifications and professional experience, we offer you a payment up to 14 TVöD (Bund) and various social benefits.
