Surveying technician (m/w/d)

In your function as survey engineer, you will take care of all the tasks associated with the maintenance of the railway network within the technical infrastructure. One of your tasks will be to carry out and evaluate the inventory. In addition, you are responsible for creating inventory and cut-off plans by location and height for the track and switch systems. Occasionally, the execution of smaller construction measures in the rail sector and for accompanying road construction measures fall within your field of activity. You take the trasssing changes of the position and gradient to adjust the track systems. Network measurements for fixed-point determination including polygon train calculations are your tasks. The execution of deformation measurements completes your task range.

A completed training for surveying technicians is the basis of your qualifications. You have well-founded CAD knowledge in 2D and 3D – best in the Bentley MicroStation program and can safely handle MS Office. Ideally, you will learn how to train and plan track systems, as well as Bentley RailTrack and ProVI. You are ready to work at night and in the field service if necessary. Through your high commitment, you regularly take part in skills and qualification training. You have a class B licence and are familiar with the SSB traffic network. Personally, you are characterized by punctuality and reliability, complemented by a proper mix of team spirit, readiness and a targeted way of work.
