For our SOS Children's Village Oberpfalz we are looking for a Senior Consultant (m/w/d) in permanent employment, full-time (38,5 hours/day) or part-time (from 25 hours/day)

In our housing groups there are 8 children and young people aged 5-18 who cannot live in their families for various reasons. In the children's village families, 5-6 children and young people are cared for in a familial setting. In our SOS Children's Village you will find a home for a limited period of time or permanently. Our teams give children and young people a family home. You promote young people, provide valuable educational work and create a child-friendly everyday life with them. You build trusting relationships with the children and young people, accompany them empathy, motivate, comfort, and help them in difficult moments. You perform creative and playful leisure activities and offer the children a wide range of opportunities, including homework support. You work closely with the specialist service and contribute to the individual assistance and education planning of children and young people. You are conscientiously implementing the protection of children and responsibilities.

You have a degree as an educator or nursein or social pedagoguein, childhood pedagoguein or educatorin or educational scholarin or have a Master's degree with major pedagogy. The education and promotion of children and young people are useful and valuable tasks for you. You like to get into different teams, are helpful and it is important for you to move with others. Timely flexible work and a cross-group activity are an enrichment for you due to the change. You are a good lecturerin, listenerin, adventurerin, leaderin and negotiation expertin and love a varied (family) everyday.
