The independent area for psychosocial medicine and development neuroscience (PSM) is part of the Centre for Mental Health and both in research, teaching and patient care. A broad, multimethodic approach is followed which comprises, in particular, imaging methods (MRT, fMRT, MRS), experimental and cognition-psychological, psychophysiological (eye tracking), immunological and endocrinological methods and the digital phenotyping (among others ecological momentary assessment). The main objective is translational research, which seeks to transfer research results as quickly as possible to improve diagnostics and therapy.
