In addition to the construction of water, the Schlosserei, the general and heavy steel construction, the machine and industrial plant construction as well as the repair of the ship are more important aspects of the economic activity of USM GmbH.

From now on we are looking for you: Pre-worker/in Stahlbau (m/w/d)

This is what you expect:

• Participation in the planning, control and monitoring of work processes in the workshop
• Classification and professional guidance of the Schlosser team
• Ensuring the timely production of components and constructions
• Working in production
• Control of working quality and compliance with technical requirements
• Monitoring compliance with safety and accident prevention regulations
• Support in optimizing work processes
• Introduction and support of new employees and trainees
• Interface between workshop, construction management/project management and possibly Customers

Ideally, you bring:

• Complete training in the metal sector (e.g. as a construction mechanic, metal builder or locker)
• Multiannual professional experience in Schlosserei or metal processing
• First experience in employee management or as a foreman desirable
• Technical understanding and reading of drawings
• Self-employed, structured and responsible work
• Enforcement and team skills
• Organisational skills and communication strength
• Reliability, resilience and flexibility
• Class B driving licence
