Ensure efficient and reliable fleet operations in alignment with timetables Monitor port turnaround performance and implementing measures for continuous improvement Optimize stowage planning and oversee cargo handling processes to minimize port durations Maintain proactive communication with vessel crews, especially Captains and Chief Officers Liaise with port authorities (port management) and other key stakeholders Coordinate bunker supplies and organize timely delivery of essential ship commissions and services Manage applications for police shipping permits and operational clearances
Completed studies and/or certificate as Navigational Watch Officer or comparable training Previous shipping experience in operations, maritime logistics, or port coordination. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with vessel crews and shore-based partners Solution-oriented mindset with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Hands-on-approach, proactive attitude, and high attention to operational details Proficient in English, additional language skills in German or Swedish are an advantage Willingness to travel as required to vessels and ports
