from now on and in full time in Bonn, alternatively nationwide at one of our BWI locations.

As a primary digitization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, safe and efficient IT services in Germany and abroad, from basic operations to the field close to the application and thus contribute to the continuous increase in the leadership and operational capacity of the Bundeswehr. With more than 8,000 colleagues, we operate and modernise one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. We are looking for responsible IT specialists who are convinced that the Bundeswehr-IT will further develop in challenging digitalization projects and thus contribute to Germany's security.

The Customer Solution Unit CIR & See is responsible for BWI's projects and projects towards the customer in the dimensions “Cyber- & Informationsraum” and “See” of the Bundeswehr. This includes solutions in the context of IT, in support of operations and exercises, for transferable systems, to ensure the IT supply of Bw abroad and also of the Marine, both for stationary and sea-based shares.

Your profile:

• Complete study with IT reference or comparable training
• At least 5 years of practical experience in IT architecture methods with good planning and design knowledge, ideally in large and complex IT projects in the field of security-relevant IT infrastructures
• Long-term experience in the environment of security-relevant IT projects, ideally in international, security-relevant environments
• Experience with projects in complex customer environment and external suppliers desirable
• High level of enforcement and decision-making
• Operating experience in operating models or IT-Service (e.g. ITIL)
• Very good knowledge in the field of IT infrastructures (servers, network and communication systems)
• Deep architectural knowledge in the field of cloud
• Very good communication skills

Your tasks:

• Support for internal contractors (sponsor) for solutions in the environment of military IT at a high level of security
• Architectural planning of IT solutions in the military high-security environment
• Recording, analysis and documentation of requirements in consultation with the customer
• further development of architectural concepts in the IT near-use according to BWI, Bw and NATO requirements
• Creation of IT concepts and target images for large-scale projects of the operational IT of the Bundeswehr
• Advice on concepts and targets for the implementation and operation of guidance information systems
• Working with offers, performance descriptions, calculations and contracts
• Close cooperation with Bundeswehr, Service Lines and internal areas for user orientation
• Coordination of architectural, operating and rollout concepts with customer organs, BWI Intern and external partners
