Advising domestic insurance companies and insurance-related companies in compliance core topics (in particular insurance supervision law, corruption prevention, sales, insurance product, and sustainability) Implementation of the elements of the Compliance Management System (risk control, monitoring, reporting, training / awareness and legal monitoring) Further development of the compliance community of domestic insurance companies and insurance companies as well as maintenance of relevant interfaces in these companies Compliance-relevant incidents in domestic insurance companies and insurance-related companies (including whistleblowing) Further development of training and awareness-raising measures Creation of reports and analyses for internal stakeholders and management bodies Cooperation with other governance functions and coordination with relevant specialist departments Cooperation with supervisory authorities, external auditors:internal and other relevant institutions

Successfully completed legal higher education (full-legal:in) or a comparable qualification Multiannual professional experience in compliance with an insurance company desirable Knowledge of relevant legal and supervisory requirements and laws (e.g. VAG, VVG, IDD and relevant BaFin newsletters and EU regulations) Analytical skills related to the recognition and assessment of relevant legal issues relating to insurance products, sales and insurance supervision issues High level of self-sufficiency and sense of responsibility, willingness to decide and enforceability as well as professional handling of relevant stakeholders Embossed communication capability and safe occurrence, combined with a structured and result-oriented operation Affinity for process optimization, data analysis and IT application (e.g. Artificial Intelligence) German and English skills No one is perfect and not all career paths are straight.
