Lighting Designer for *The Phantom of the Opera* (m/f/d)

We are producers: The Phantom of the Opera, Harry Potter and the Desired Child, Moulin Rouge! The musical, Starlight Express. We are theatre operators: Admiralspalast Berlin, Musical Dome Köln, Theater am Großmarkt Hamburg, Capitol Theater Düsseldorf. We are tour operators: Adventureland – The musical with the hits of PUR, SIX – The Musical, Romeo and Julia – love is everything.

What we trust

You take responsibility for the planning, operation, support and maintenance of the entire lighting technology and ensure that the production is implemented technically perfectly. You enter samples and performances and implement stage instructions professionally and accurately You coordinate installation and conversion in the area of lighting and guide your team safely and structured through the production process You are responsible for the maintenance and repair of the lighting system You accompany lighting and end samples in the current performance and make sure that each show is implemented smoothly and in the highest quality You are a central contact person*in for all questions relating to lighting technology and contribute significantly to the technical quality of the entire production

What makes you

You have a training as a master (m/w/d) for event technology with a field of lighting or a comparable qualification You bring multi-year experience in handling lighting systems, lighting systems and light consoles (e.g. ETC EOS, GrandMA) You are sure to switch with electrical equipment; Knowledge of electronics are a plus Ideally, you have experience in managing lighting teams and in dealing with lighting technology at live shows with You are flexible and ready to work even in the evening, on weekends as well as on Sundays and holidays You have good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
