IT-Servicetechniker – Remote-Operations & Field Specialist (m/f/d)

The concept: You are our technical all-rounder: On the one hand, as part of the operating team, you secure our internal IT infrastructure from the home office. On the other hand, you are our expert in the field when it comes to the high availability of our smart info terminals. We offer you the perfect balance between concentrated remote administration and sophisticated technology on site.

Your tasks:

1. Field Service: Expert for Maintenance & Detection ( nationwide): Preventive maintenance: You carry out regular system checks and maintenance on our kiosk systems to minimize failures before You arise. Deep-Level Troubleshooting: In case of malfunctions, you systematically analyze errors at the interface between hardware, operating system and periphery (e.g. printer, scanner, touch components). Repair & Disorder: You fix hardware defects and software conflicts directly on site and restore full operational readiness while maintaining our quality standards. Rollout & configuration: You take over the professional installation and the final network integration of new terminals with the customer. User expert: You act as a technical consultant on site and professionally instruct contact persons in the use and initial assistance of the systems.
2. Remote Operations & Inhouse IT (from Home Office): System Engineering Support: In times between your external operations, our team supports you in the administration of networks and firewalls. Remote Incident Management: You can easily edit complex tickets (2nd level) from home and solve IT challenges by remote access. Process interface: You document service assignments meticulously in our system and are in close contact with the internal service to continuously reduce the susceptibility of our hardware.

Funded training: You have completed technical training (e.g. specialist informatics, IT system electronics, information electronics, mechatronics or electrical technicians) or a comparable qualification with a strong IT focus. IT & network know-how: You are safe in network technology (routing/switching) as well as the administration of firewall systems and brings experience in hardware and software installation. Hardware identity: Ideally, you have already gained experience with kiosk systems, digital signage or terminals. You do not hesitate to systematically analyze and troubleshoot complex errors at the interface of hardware and software. Analytical skill & rest: You do not give up until the error is found. Also with critical system failures on site or in operation support, you keep a cool head and work on the solution in a structured manner. Communication & Service: You are safe and friendly to customers, can explain technical facts in a comprehensible way and work highly independently. Flexibility & mobility: You value the home office as your operating basis, but you bring the necessary readiness to travel for operations throughout Germany. A valid driving licence of class B is absolutely necessary.
