As a team manager for Strategic Purchasing (m/w/d), you take over the leadership of a team of ten employees and, together with the department management, shape the further development of our strategic purchasing. This is about more than prices and contracts: You develop purchasing strategies, strengthen supply chains, develop market potentials and create structures that provide economic responsibility with the special requirements of a modern university medical association. Leadership, promotion and further development of a team of ten employees Strategic control of the purchase of medical and non-medical products and of investment goods Development and implementation of future-oriented purchasing, product group and supplier strategies for economic, legal and demand-oriented procurement Analysis of national and international procurement markets and selection, qualification and development of strategic suppliers Individually responsible preparation, negotiation and conclusion of framework agreements as well as the implementation of demanding price and contract negotiations Expansion and further development of cooperation with shopping communities and strategic partners Ensuring economical and resilient supply chains and continuous optimization of purchasing processes and cost structures Planning and implementation of complex tenders taking into account procurement and contractual requirements Development, control and analysis of relevant purchasing codes and regular reporting to department and department management Participation in investment and economic planning as well as competent advice of the departments in strategic procurement issues Planning and control of cross-departmental projects for digitization, standardization and continuous further development of strategic purchasing Participation in the further development of the purchasing organization and implementation of the purchasing strategy in close cooperation with the department and department management

Complete studies, e.g. in business, industrial engineering, supply chain management, health management or medical technology, or a comparable qualification, also a nursing or medical training with commercial training and corresponding professional experience is welcome Multiannual professional experience in strategic purchasing of a regulated environment, ideally in healthcare, in a clinic or comparable medical environment. Experience in purchasing medical devices, medical needs or investment goods is a plus. Found experience in strategic supplier, contract and product group management and security in challenging negotiations Experience in the design and implementation of change, optimization or digitization projects is a plus Impressed leadership skills and a leadership understanding that focuses on trust and self-responsibility – You give orientation, create freedom and encourage employees to take responsibility and introduce their potential Sovereign, binding occurrence and joy in cooperation with different internal and external partners:in Secure handling of ERP systems, ideally SAP MM, as well as common MS Office applications Knowledge of public procurement and medical device law is desirable A structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working – combined with team spirit, communication strength and curiosity to really advance things Very good knowledge of German at least level C1
