Lead Product Designer (m/w/d)

To support the existing team in Nuremberg, we are looking for you as a Lead Product Designer (m/w/d).

As an experienced manager, you take responsibility for a creative product design team that will accompany you both professionally and individually. Together with Product Management, You design forward-looking products - from the first concept to the standard design. Their focus is on a balanced interaction of function, shape, material and feasibility. In the day-to-day business, you coordinate all design activities, from the idea sketch to the handover to the technical implementation, and keep an eye on effort, resources, budgets and time to market. Working closely with design, product graphics and other interdisciplinary teams to ensure that creative vision and technical reality are perfectly matched. You are responsible for the design quality of the products and make sure that You fit for brand identity and visual demands. Developing You provide innovative ideas, introduce new impulses and make an active contribution to the further development of the product portfolio. In presentations and votes you represent your concepts confidently to decision-makers and external partners.

A completed study in the field of industrial design or a comparable qualification forms the basis of your expertise You have 3-5 years of leadership experience in international product design, ideally in toy, consumer goods or lifestyle segments. Guided tour: You have already led creative teams and understand how to control design projects with an overview and wide view. Whether it's sketch, 3D model or rendering - you can control the most common tools like Rhino or comparable CAD programs as well as the Adobe Creative Suite. Your knowledge in manufacturing processes, in particular in the field of plastic and injection molding, enables you to design in a practical and material-oriented manner. You think target group-orientated, entrepreneurial, are technologically affluent and also keep the view for the essential in complex requirements. A great enthusiasm for storytelling, brand management and playful design completes your profile, as well as very good English skills.
