In 1988, SECOMP GmbH was founded by Michael Taraba and Gunther Schroff with the aim of establishing itself as a partner for professional users with high-quality IT accessories and network engineering. Today, we are an international business group and are among the leading European suppliers in these areas as well as in security systems, UPS and electricity supply, consumer electronics accessories, 19'' cabinets and accessories. Our product range is in large quantities of producers from all over the world and is in contact with more than 200 suppliers every day via our subsidiaries in Taipeh, Rotterdam, Paris, Prague and Zurich. In addition to the distribution and the catalogue shipping business, stationary trade in specialist markets in Ettlingen and Zurich as well as Internet trading are an integral part of our sales strategy. Our central warehouse in Ettlingen has a capacity of more than 10,000 pallets with an assortment of over 5,000 individual products. Around 80 employees are employed at the Ettlingen site. You're running about 15 colleagues. For them, you are a model and the first point of contact in everyday life – whether it is work or personal concerns. You plan shifts and holidays, help your people to get better and grab when it goes round. You explain to your team the daily goals and organize how you achieve them together. The booking of goods receipts etc. (possibly also order processing, order control, order tracking and retrievals, process clarifications), stock checks (inventures, complaints etc.), creating invoices, delivery notes and transport papers are your daily routine.

The heart at the right spot: You take responsibility for your people and make your team their home. You speak plain, if something doesn't fit. Coordination strength and enforcement: You make sure everyone in your team pulls on one line – so that no one stays on the track and you can reach your specifications. A good hand for processes and organization: You are an all-rounder in the logistics sector, versatilely usable, keeps an overview and ensures that everything runs smoothly. Some experience: You have completed vocational training, ideally as a logistics businessman or a merchant in wholesale and foreign trade, and you have already managed a team. Experience from warehouse logistics and warehouse management software would not be bad.
