IT clerks in Unit Group N.II (m/f/d)

The BBK is the head office of the Federal Government for National Crisis Management in Germany. We ensure the quality of crisis management in a central coordination role with federal, international and cross-sector partners. In view of this task, our interdisciplinary team is growing steadily. We are looking for dedicated professionals who want to make Germany more crisis-proof. We are looking for unlimited duration at the next time several IT experts (w/m/d) Group E 11 TVöD (Bund) in the unit group N.II at the office of Bonn.

Conception – You develop independent building blocks for strategic foundations and practical implementation of technical needs, in particular IT requirements, in the protection of the population or the protection of critical infrastructures. Further development – you support the technical implementation of registration and reporting procedures, operate database management, maintain data archives and work on the further development of these tasks. You will also support the development of web applications. Coordination and cooperation – You take part in the coordination process with the specialist and IT refrigerations in the BBK, with federal, state and municipal authorities, as well as with private and scientific actors. Crisis organisation – you are entering the internal crisis organisation.

You will have a completed standing university degree (Bachelor/FH Diploma) or you will be close to completion with a focus on information technology (informatics, technical informatics, IT security, physics, mathematics, news, communication or electrical engineering, IT management, administrative or business informatics or a comparable, relevant field of expertise). You have knowledge of the development of web applications (e.g. HTML, CSS, NodeJS) or in data processing and representation (e.g. with Python, R, shiny, leaflet).

At least one of the programming languages JavaScript, R or Python are sure to master. Experience in IT procurement (hardware and software), especially in tender procedures, is advantageous. You have ideally already gained experience in or with authorities in Bund, Länder or municipalities. You have a strong analytical mindset and the ability to quickly capture complex facts and cross-references and to prepare them for different target groups. Very good language skills in word and writing complete your profile (German C2/min. English B2 according to GER). You bring the willingness to multi-day missions. Since our tasks are safety-relevant and event-oriented, we need your willingness to extend the safety review and to participate in the BBK crisis organisation.

Application of officials – If you are in an official relationship, we will take you up to the grade A 11 at the same level by means of a disorder with the aim of the transfer. In the presence of the individual requirements, we offer the takeover into an official relationship. Professional allowance – Depending on the applicant's situation and the personal requirements, we may grant you an additional temporary allowance of up to 1,000 euros per month.
