Deputy Head of Department Child Day Care / School Child Care (m/f/d)

You are responsible for the operational management, implementation of the support objectives and the anti-violence concept, central procedures, quality assurance and the protection of the service of the Kita/Schulkind department You are also responsible for the technical and service supervision and the management of the interim management and the playrooms of the department A focus of the task is to secure the type-approvals as well as the reconstruction and reorientation of the facilities in the sense of inclusive youth assistance. You cooperate internally and externally with a variety of cooperation partners (e.g. youth assistance planning, KiTa service, general counsellor, schools, other offices) The design and further development of the cooperation between urban Kitas and Stuttgart schools is one of your tasks Representation for the Department of Child Day Care/Child Care A change or addition of the task area is reserved.

A completed university degree (university degree/master degree) in the field of social sciences, social work, education, pedagogy or a comparable degree of study with relevant professional experience Multiannual work-field-specific management experience and personnel responsibility in a large city Funded knowledge of the legal framework (e.g. SGB VIII, Good-KiTa Act, School Laws, KitaG Baden-Württemberg and KitaVO BW as well as regulatory requirements) Experience in organisational development and expertise in early childhood education and child protection decision-making, strong strategic, analytical and conceptual strength as well as excellent communication, conflict and presentation skills, moderation skills and cooperation and network competence, Safe handling of relevant IT systems and interest in innovations and developments in the area of digitalisation and AI
