The Überlandwerk Mittelbaden GmbH & Co. KG successfully manages the electricity distribution network of the Mittelbaden region with around 400,000 inhabitants at approx. 2,000 km2 supply area. In the regulated environment, it plans to build and maintain the networks, ensures efficiency and quality of supply and works with network customers and around 50 municipalities.

In this central key position, you are the first contact person for our around 50 municipalities and actively shape the future of our energy infrastructure. You act as a strategic interface between municipal decision-makers and network operations and assume a responsible role with high visibility. You maintain and intensify cooperation with mayors, municipal councils and specialist offices based on trust and transparency. You control and accompany the entire process of concession award – from strategic preparation to negotiations to final settlement. You serve municipalities in network-relevant topics such as network expansion, new building areas, fault communication, site coordination and complaint management. You are central contact persons for municipal projects with net cover (e.g. development, e-mobility concepts, heat planning). You create professionally sound documents, Q&A documents and presentations for political bodies and municipal committees. You contribute to the creation and communication of network charges and respond to local requests. You take over the project management in the case of participation, cooperation and special projects as well as in the case of cross-site strategic topics. You are responsible for and developing municipal products – in particular in the area of heat planning and digitization. You provide customer contacts before and after and ensure the internal disclosure of relevant information. You conduct internal training on concession topics and support specialist areas in contract-related issues.

Completed (specialized) university studies, ideally in economic engineering, energy management, (technical)business, administrative sciences or comparable Multiannual professional experience in a similar position – preferably in the energy or infrastructure sector, in public administration or communicative advice Deep understanding of energy policy and economic conditions and municipal decision-making processes Impressed communication skills, negotiation skills and diplomatic sensitivity Ability to prepare complex technical and economic circumstances in a comprehensible manner Service-oriented, resilient team player with high social competence Secure handling of MS Office and digital tools driving licence class B Willingness to flexible working time within the framework of operational regulations
