The Ballin Stiftung e.V. is an experienced sponsor of the Hamburger Kinder- und Jugendhilfe. The range of offers includes 20 day care centers, 12 GBS locations, 2 parents-child centres as well as our support services of the Hamburger Kinder- und Jugendhilfe in our 2 Meerzeit facilities on the North and Baltic Sea. For the Freie und Hansestadt Hamburg, we carry out the nation-wide unique child and youth assistance offer of the „Ballin Meerzeit“ and are looking for a competent reinforcement for the team of our institution. Our youth assistance measure is aimed at children and young people from socio-economically disadvantaged and/or psychosocially burdened families and supplements as a preventive, development-promoting offer of social-spatial assistance with a temporary, stationary support offer. Our differentiated educational concept is characterized by a resource-oriented and holistic approach. Located directly by the sea, children and young people will find a protected, stimulating and development-promoting place. In a stationary frame, we serve 14 children and young people in the four-week Ballin Meerzeit in four age group groups. Our multi-professional team is important to strengthen children and young people in their self-esteem and competences. We support them in managing their age-appropriate development tasks and individual burdens and crises. We also work closely with the families and the Hamburger Hilfesystem.
