As a FCAS Materials & Process Engineer (m/w/d), you are sometimes responsible for the development of functional materials. They support work packages in the FCAS area. Following tasks await you:

• Development of functional materials and associated processes and support to workpackages in the area of FCAS and internal development projects
• Deliver material solutions including associated data to other airframe disciplines
• Develop eco-efficient materials and processes to comply with EHS regulations search as REACh
• Creation and harmonization of material and process specifications
• Definition of material and manufacturing process selection lists based on program requirements
• Definition, coordination and execution of material, process or part specific qualification campaigns
• M&P support to other engineering and discipline manufacturings and to supplier audits, quality escapes or obsolescences and support in supplier development in the area of structural and non-structural polymers
• Ensure appropriate documentation and reporting and support to national and international R&T projects

We wish:

• A completed study in the field of aerospace, mechanical engineering or composites / composites or a comparable qualification
• Professional experience in the fields of aerospace, working experience welcome in a laboratory environment, experience in defining and implementing test programs, including coordination with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, as well as initial experience in compliance with environmental legislation
