Number: MER00042TO Do you want to shape the future of the automotive industry? In the Mercedes-Benz Research and Development (RD), we design the automotive generations of the future. As a team 'Future Interior' we explore and develop the interior of the future. In the development of innovative concepts and systems, we work together as an interdisciplinary team from various disciplines such as engineering, psychology and design. The team's theme range includes all aspects of the interior of the future, from room concepts to comfort functions to material innovations and UX/UI concepts. These challenges include: Analysis of current trends and innovations in the automotive industry with focus on design and technology.

Participation in ideas generation and concept development of future vehicle interiors

Support in the development of concepts for market positioning of new designs and technologies.

Creation of presentations and decision templates with high design requirements for management meetings

Cooperation with the project management in designing project contents and building innovations

Your activity can start from September 2026.

Programme in the field of innovation management, automotive design, product design or similar disciplines

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing

A pronounced feel for shape, light and space as well as the sovereign handling of common visualization and 3D modeling tools (preferably Blender)

Safe handling of MS Office

Commitment and team skills

Communication and team skills

Embossed analytical skills and strategic working

Enthusiasm for new challenges

Affinity for new technologies and current developments in the automotive industry
