In close cooperation with the Business Owner, you are responsible for the development and implementation of the product strategy for our application software PiWeb, a successful and established measurement technology software for collecting and evaluating all measurement, process and quality data in the production environment. Market analysis and product development: They analyze the market environment and the applications of our software to derive a targeted product roadmap that meets the requirements of our customers.

Communication between customers and development: As a link between our customers, the development department and other internal stakeholders (such as marketing, sales and quality assurance), you are responsible for translating customer needs and market requirements into clear product requirements. They work closely with the different teams to ensure that all perspectives are taken into account. Their ability to promote interdisciplinary communication and integrate different expertise is crucial for the success of PiWeb.

Marketing and positioning: In close coordination with the marketing team, you support the marketing and positioning of the product. You create relevant content, such as Customer-Success-Stories, and present our product portfolio at trade fairs and events.

Training and support for sales: Developing in cooperation with the Sales & Service team They provide targeted training content for our international sales companies to ensure that all participants are optimally prepared for the application of our software.

Product monitoring and adaptation: They keep an overview of the success of the product, adapt the product roadmap to market and customer needs and support the development and implementation of specific pricing models.

They have a successfully completed degree in engineering, industrial engineering or comparable technical training

You have several years of experience in product management, marketing or sales of application software

ideally, you will bring experience in industrial measurement technology, in particular with technologies such as statistical process control (SPC) or Six Sigma

They possess strong communication skills and a passion for software as well as data-based services

motivate complex challenges and problems to develop customer-oriented and sustainable solutions

Regular visits to customers and other ZEISS locations are part of your tasks to ensure that product development meets market needs

You have very good English and German knowledge in word and writing
