Systemadministrator Linux (m/w/d)

Your tasks:

Your responsibilities

• Administration, maintenance and development of existing Linux-based server landscape
• Monitoring system performance and ensuring system availability
• Support for error and performance analysis and optimisation of systems
• Implementation and management of security measures and policies
• Creation of operating concepts and system documentation and protocols
• Support in planning and implementing new IT projects

Your qualifications:

That's what you bring

• Complete studies in the field of computer science, business informatics or comparable training
• Multiannual experience in the administration of Linux systems (e.g. Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS)
• Funded knowledge in shell scripting and automation tools (e.g. Ansible, Puppet)
• Good experiences with databases (Oracle, MySQL, HANA)
• Experience with network protocols and services (e.g. TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Knowledge in managing virtualization and container technologies (e.g. VMware, Docker)
• Confidentiality with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Nagios, Prometheus)
• Excellent knowledge of German in word and writing
