With the one since 1 Oct. In 2023, W3 Professorship for Clinical Hygiene is the subject of hygiene and environmental medicine with the campus-crossing institute for hospital and environmental hygiene at the Medical Faculty of the Christian-Albrechts-University of Kiel academically anchored in teaching and research and integrated with the hospital hygiene in the patient care at the University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein (UKSH).

The Institute for Hospital and Environmental Hygiene is organised across campus, and the tasks are met at Kiel and Lübeck sites by our team of experienced hygienists / hygienists and hygienists. The UKSH hospital hygiene is primarily concerned with the prevention of nosocomial infections in the clinics and patient care areas at Campus Kiel and Campus Lübeck.

Come to our team and support us at the next possible time in an indefinite working relationship if you are already bringing the qualification as a hygiene specialist or first terminated for 2 years if further training is not yet available. The place is Kiel. Occasionally, activities at the Lübeck site are required.

Take this with you:

• A completed training for the health and nursing staff / health and nursing staff Nursing specialist with at least 3 years of professional experience in the hospital

• A completed specialist training for the ‘state-recognised hygiene specialist’ or ‘special health and nursing staff/specialist health and nursing staff for hygiene and infection prevention’ or the willingness to complete the qualification within the next 3 years

• Kindness, sense of responsibility and communicative skills in dealing with the College

• Self-employed and structured working and enjoying interprofessional cooperation

• Good IT skills in MS Office products and the readiness to work into hygiene-specific software
