For our service field of customer service in the Tribe Cyber Defense Center, we are looking for you in full or part-time as Senior Cyber Defense Detection Engineer (m/w/d) in Berlin, Karlsruhe, Munich and Munich. Münster. You work with your colleagues across locations and with a variety of interfaces.

Tasks with perspectives You are significantly involved in the expansion of our internal and market-acting cyber defense centers in the field of anomaly and attack detection. You design, implement and optimize detection rules in the Security Information & Event Management Platform (SIEM) as well as in other detection tools, thereby supporting the cyber-defense analysts in the Security Operations Center. If necessary, you will also design and implement complementary detection solutions to meet technological developments in our IT landscape as well as developments on the attacker side, and optimise platforms, tools and processes to support the Incident Response. As a result, you contribute significantly to the improvement of anomaly recognition and the appropriate response. In the case of a Security Incident, you support a coordinating role through targeted handling with your IT-forensic skills or because of your experience. You advise colleagues on reducing attack surfaces and vectors.

Personality with profile You have a completed study of computer science, information technology or business informatics, as well as many years of relevant professional experience in IT security or a comparable qualification as well as experience in managing cross-disciplinary projects. You have experience as a DFIR Consultant in the field of host and network, as an Incident Responder and/or Incident Manager and rely on sound knowledge in Windows and Linux. You bring knowledge in the field of Incident Response Automation, Detection Engineering and at least one SIEM platform as well as in script languages such as Python or PowerShell. You have knowledge of German (at least C1 level) and good English (B2 level).
