Occupational Safety Specialist as EHS Manager (m/w/d)

Our client has been developing and producing packaging solutions for the food industry for many decades. The international group is the world leader in its industry and in more than 100 countries.

At the closest possible time we are looking for an experienced, high-communication and responsible EHS Manager (m/w/d) for the production site in the south-east Rhineland-Palatinate, on the edge of the Rhine-Main region and the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region. They perform all the tasks of a security specialist (m/w/d) and are responsible for all the issues related to the environment, health and safety. They act as environmental officers with responsibility for environmental protection, water protection and hazardous materials management. They train and sensitize employees on safety and environmental issues and thus promote a proactive safety culture. They undertake the implementation of approval procedures, the monitoring of audits and the organisation and design of visits, exercises and events for EHS topics. They are responsible for the EHS and ISO (45001/14001/50001), reporting the monthly KPIs and actively participating in international projects as well as in the development, implementation and continuous improvement of management systems.

They have completed a study or training with a technical orientation and are in any case qualified as a specialist in occupational safety. They bring together at least three years of professional experience from an industrial company in the field of EHS and are confident at all levels. They like to go to people and communicate proactively and addressably in all areas of a company. They are very well self-organized, work structured and can prevail to achieve your goals. They have good knowledge of English in word and writing.
