Unit 32 is responsible for all national tasks in health and economic consumer protection, including issues of plant protection, plant health and veterinary care in Bremen. The Unit is responsible for oversight by the following authorities, the food monitoring and veterinary services of the country of Bremen and the Landesprüfungsamt.
