Head of Start-up Management (m/f/d)

You act as a disciplinary and professional leadership of the department of start-up management with project managers and specialists, which are used across locations at KNDS Germany You take over the strategic planning: development and implementation of a comprehensive approach to start-up management, which is oriented towards the corporate objectives You are also responsible for process optimization: Identification and analysis of business processes of start-up management to improve efficiency and quality You take over the schools and coaches of staff, staff management and motivation In addition, you are responsible for personnel planning and recruit new employees if necessary You conduct employee talks (annual talks, goals, feedback) You are responsible for the planning, control and monitoring of complex projects in the field of operations You take over the technical control of the areas of production, purchasing, logistics and quality as part of the projects and the planning and coordination of the start-up of new production lines, machines or products You are responsible for monitoring the resource needs (personnel, machine, materials) and ensuring availability You take care of ensuring the quality of start production in close cooperation with quality assurance As Head of Department, you are responsible for the planning and execution of relocations, both within one location and between different locations as well as suppliers. This includes optimising and ensuring the smooth transition of production facilities, machines or processes You are responsible for ensuring the timely implementation of the projects as well as for the data analysis: use of data and KPls to measure and control improvements You take over the coordination and guidance of interdisciplinary and cross-site project teams and the analysis and optimization of processes for increasing efficiency within the framework of the projects You create and maintain project plans, reports and documentation and communicate with internal and external stakeholders You are responsible for reporting to top management and are responsible for promoting corporate culture and continuous improvement

You have completed their studies in one of the relevant areas such as engineering, business or industrial engineering, as well as several years of experience in start-up management, ideally in the arms industry Additional qualifications or certificates in project management, change management are advantageous You bring analytical thinking skills as well as pronounced coordination and organizational talent and have experience in working with cross-functional teams and implementing change projects
