Designed as a system engineer with a focus on high-voltage energy storage and battery systems You will have the system architecture of tomorrow, structured, comprehensible and optimized maintenance. You bring technical depth, think systemically and work interdisciplinary with development, validation and quality. Full system layout: Definition and specification of high-voltage energy storage systems (cell selection, module interconnection, thermal management) Requirements management & specification: derivation of technical requirements from the overall system and creation of specifications for internal teams and external suppliers Supplier control & Technical Lead: Technical support and review of development steps for subcontractors (design reviews, prototype validation) Security architecture: Design of safety concepts (HV security, monitoring strategies, fire prevention) taking into account military standards. Interface management: Definition of communication (CAN/Ethernet) between BMS and vehicle or Platform control Methodological integration: Embedding the specifications in the MBSE workflow (Enterprise Architect) without losing sight of the hardware reality

Successfully completed university studies in electrical engineering (alternative: mechatronics, aerospace technology or comparable) Deep knowledge of lithium-ion technologies, battery management systems (BMS) and HV architectures Multiannual professional experience in comparable tasks Detectable successes in the creation of complex specifications and the technical management of development partners Experience with safety standards for batteries (e.g. UN38.3, IEC 62619) and ideally military qualification Safe handling of requirements engineering tools (DOORS) and the ability to use architecture models (SysML) as tools – not as a self-interest – Technical depth combined with the ability to critically question decisions with suppliers. German and English skills Intercultural competence for cooperation with international partners High social competence, especially in the construction of trust and professional handling of clients and specialist departments

The remuneration is based on the collective agreement of the metal and electrical industry, Bavaria. The gross annual fee is at the start at about €74,000 at a weekly working time of 35 hours. In addition, additional special payments under the collective agreement apply. The entitlement to this varies depending on the duration of the service to the respective deadline.
