This makes this job interesting to me: 50Hertz is one of the four transmission system operators in Germany. We transport electricity at maximum voltage level. The good 2,100 employees of the company create something that seemed to be impossible until recently: to advance the energy transition at a high pace and at the same time to maintain the security of supply. Together with the Belgian electricity grid operator Elia (Brussels), we form the internationally active Elia Group. So that this remains, security and resilience at 50Hertz have the highest priority. Whether technical, human and organizational security measures, event security, travel security or emergency and crisis management, this is all the responsibility of 50Hertz's corporate security. I actively shape the topics of corporate security and secure our network for the energy transition – on land and on high seas. Because we protect what drives us! My tasks: The safety systems and the associated processes must be continuously adapted and maintained to the needs of 50Hertz. These include access control, video management and intrusion reporting systems as well as a higher-level alarm management system. I take an essential role in this, as I continue to shape the vision and roadmap of our security architecture and accompany the implementation. I work closely with the users of the security systems and the operation to coordinate project and release plans and operational planning with the stakeholders. I understand myself as a communication interface between the developers and stakeholders. In software errors and problems, I take an active role in coordinating service providers and internal stakeholders and keeping an overview. The comprehensive, system-specific knowledge that I am building over time makes me a power user*in that supports complex issues. I am also involved in building property protection projects and other topics of corporate security.

completed studies in an STEM field, security technology or an alternative, comparable qualification, professional experience in the planning, implementation, maintenance and parameterization of safety systems and safety equipment – alternatively, I bring sound knowledge from building automation, IT affinity: I can work in IT consulting and have experience in project management, experience in complex transformation projects or the detachment of existing systems and in dealing with business and IT stakeholders, Strategic thinking and hand-on mentality in solving complex technical challenges, safe handling of system-relevant standards, standards and regulations, Creativity for new solutions or solution-oriented product thinking with a high self-initiative, expressed organisational strength, persuasion and team capacity, Target group-oriented communication also of complex facts is easy for me, High level of readiness and motivation to work on current and new topics, language skills: knowledge of German in word and writing (C1) and good knowledge of English (B2), willingness to take action outside normal business hours and to take on occasional business trip; Car driving permit.
