As an IT system administrator (m/w/d) in the area of network, you will design the future of our IT landscape from the conception to the control of all network activities. You are responsible not only for technology, processes and data, but also for the continuous optimization and further development of our network. In addition, you actively contribute your expertise to exciting projects and take over the continuous optimization and further development of our network in close coordination with the IT architect, actively participate in projects and special tasks, create project-accompanying documentation and, if necessary, also take over the management of special tasks In addition, implement measures to introduce and commission new network components as well as change measures according to ITIL process standards, coordinate external service providers and ensure complete network documentation including change management You analyze and troubleshoot disturbances in 2nd and 3rd level support, maintain and advise our users and take over the planning, control and implementation of measures in configuration, change and release management In addition, configure active network components such as firewalls, routers, switches and hubs and perform patch management You monitor the availability and security of our network and carry out performance analyses to continuously optimize network utilization You maintain the passive network infrastructure of the main administration and external offices, including planning, implementation and documentation of network cabling, patchwork and connection work
